About Us

 

 

We began sugaring in 2000 with 140 taps, and currently have over 3400 taps with a tubing and vacuum system.  All of these taps are located in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire (otherwise known as the Great North Woods region).

 

We have modernized our evaporation system (with a reverse osmosis) and sap collection system to be more efficient but still are small enough to have maintained some old fashion traditions. We boil our sap on an oil fired evaporator in a newly constructed 23 x 20 ft. sugarhouse.

 

Sugaring season runs from mid February to mid April depending entirely on the weather.

   

      

Grades

Grade A Golden is very light in color and has a smooth delicate flavor.

 

Grade A Amber is a bit darker and possesses a bit more pronounced maple flavor, rich and smooth.

 

Grade A Dark Robust is darker yet and has a stronger maple flavor desired by some.
